The incident is believed to have happened at around 6am this morning.
Brook is now in a stable condition at the Candelaria Hospital in Tenerife.

World champion boxer Kell Brook has been stabbed while holidaying in Tenerife with his wife Lindsey.
The attack is believed to have happened during an evening out on Wednesday where Brook sustained an injury to his leg and a cut to his arm.
The 28-year-old was then taken to hospital where he is understood to be in a stable condition and not in a life-threatening situation.
The incident comes less than a month after Brook shocked Shawn Porter to win the IBF Welterwight title on American soil in California.
Sadly this is not the first time that Brook has been stabbed in such an altercation.
Back in 2007 the 28-year-old was left with serious injuries when he was knifed in his sides and buttocks following a party in his native Sheffield.
Brook returned from that medical setback and the hope is he will do the very same from this incident.
