The "12 Years a Slave" star has been heavily involved with the
redevelopment efforts for the Louisiana city since Hurricane Katrina.
The second annual gala marked the 100th house that's been rebuilt since
Pitt's work began there.
His fiancée, Angelina Jolie, 38, who he shares six children with, was
also in attendance to support him, as they've done for each other on
countless occasions.
"We have history and work hard to make it great," the "Maleficent" star
told "Extra" in a previous interview. "We don't kind of relax about it
and take each other for granted. Like everybody, we have our challenges,
but we're fighting to make it great."
