Los Angeles - One of the hottest women in the world is single again.
Sofia Vergara called off her engagement to fiancé Nick Loeb.The actress revealed the split on 23 May on social media.
The Modern Family star and her businessman former fiancé started dating in 2010, but broke up in 2012, after some time apart, Sofia and Nick reunited and he proposed to her at her 40th birthday party in 2012.
In a statement addressed to her fans, posted on her ‘Who Say account’ Miss Vergara said:
"Not that anyone should care, but in order to not give the press the chance to invent crazy and hurtful drama, I prefer to tell my fans personally that Nick and I have decided to be apart.”
she added; “We have been having too many problems with figuring out how to spend time together and because of my work and now his, it’s been getting worse and worse, not fun anymore. We are still very close but we believe is the best thing for us right now."
Sofia Vergara was previously married to Joe Gonzalez in 1991. The couple divorced in 1993, they share a 21-year-old son, Manolo.
