Kim Workin On Her Weight!!!

Kim Kardashian, on either a desperate quest for weight loss or a desperate quest for attention, has almost quite literally eaten her words about yesterday's "the no carb diet starts now because my butt and hips are HUGE!" because the above photo? That's her and Kylie and friends dining at La Scala in Beverly Hills ... carbing out. If only that were the end of it, we wouldn't have anything to say, but lots of folks are now mocking Kim for her choice in fine dining when just yesterday, she had a whole lot to say about dieting and post-baby bodies and weight loss.

See, the thing isn't that Kim Kardashian needs to stick to any rigorous diet -- if she wants to, it's her choice, and nobody should care whether or not she falls off the food truck and gravitates like a spaghetti-craving zombie to the nearest gourmet Italian joint. What becomes a problem is when Kim goes and publicly shames her own body -- her own quite gorgeous body, if we're being pretty honest -- because she's got an awful lot of clout with younger, more impressionable fans that might not have the banging body that she does.

Those poor girls, who admire and respect Kim, are now not only being subjected to the constant onslaught of a woman that they'd emulate, if they could, seeming to struggle immensely with her weight -- which is normal, and OK, and it's something that most people go through at some point in their lives --  but in addition to witnessing this, they're being faced with ideas that somehow even their idea of "best" isn't good enough, and that's a dangerous sentiment in itself, to say the least.

Those of you who aren't attracted to Kim's particular shape -- as well as those of you who outright call her physically repulsive, which blows my mind -- you can't deny that Kim's body isn't just fine the way that it is, especially when compared with whomever you think to be even "worse" than Kim K.

Coming from a personal perspective, there isn't a single person on this earth that I could look at and say, "Wow, that's one crappy body." Who would even say that? Why would that thought ever even cross your mind? How cruel is it, and how would that even remotely be effective in promoting self-love and health when you go ahead and slam the way a person's built just because you don't find them physically attractive?

The way your body looks -- or doesn't look -- is your damn business, and don't ever let anyone tell you any different. That goes for all of you, and not just Kim Kardashian in this particular case, either.
